In this workshop, you will learn more about the fascination with connecting with ancestral spirits and the energies of our deceased loved ones. While this dates back to the dawn of humanity, it reached an apex during the Victorian Era, when many of the methods of connection we still use today came into common use. The veil will be thinning as we approach October 31st, which not only includes Halloween, but also the festival of Samhain, followed by the Mexican holiday of Día de Muertos and the Christian All Saints Day the following day. This is a time in cultures all over the world where we remember, celebrate, and connect with those who are no longer with us. We will talk about ways to honor your ancestors and deceased loved ones, and we will dive into a few different methods of divination that you may be able to use to connect during this time of year when the division between our realms is thinner than usual.
